tl;dr: yes, and it highly depends 😅. Read on.
Titanium is an amazing element. It's super strong, incredibly durable, and to be honest, looks extremely beautiful. So it's no wonder why people search for their favorite and frequently used items in titanium form. Titanium grinders are no exception. Question is, do they exist?
Yes, they do. You have to hunt for them, though.
Titanium grinders are indeed in the wild. You just have to know what to look for, as some options presenting themselves as titanium are not what they seem to be. There are some options that are titanium in color only. Some options have titanium in the teeth of the grinder only. Be wary of these options, as they are made up of mostly (if not completely) of an undisclosed metal (and that can be dangerous).
In our search, we found two options. Both are from companies outside of the United States. Both are made from 100% titanium and appear to be well-engineered. And both are incredibly expensive. Which brings us to our next point: are titanium grinders worth it?
Depends on how you look at the purchase.
With titanium grinders starting at $400 to upwards of $900, the average grinder user can't possibly fathom dropping that kind of cash on a grinder. However, we don't believe that these grinders are made for the average grinder user. Titanium grinders are heirlooms, items made to be passed down from generation to generation. These grinders are pristine showpieces, made to be displayed proudly when you have guests over your place. And of course, titanium grinders, like its stainless steel counterpart, are made to last virtually forever.
Titanium grinders are basically a prestigious item to own in your collection.
For those looking for our iteration of titanium grinders, we're actually working on our own as you are reading this! We'll update this article as more information comes out. We're very excited to enter this space in the North American market!
For those who still want all of these amazing features while waiting for our launch, stainless steel is no small puppy. They cost less because stainless steel is easier to manufacture and source, but know that stainless steel grinders will last you just as long as titanium grinders will, while looking as beautiful as stainless steel can look! Take a look at our offerings here while we prepare for our titanium grinder launch!
Edit 4/19/2024: Our titanium grinders are finally available! Check them out here!
